Flo Frey received
a B.S. in Communications from Emerson College and a Masters
in Deaf Education from Boston University. She taught at Children's
Hospital Speech and Hearing Center prior to joining Dunhill
Legal in 1977, the first legal recruiting firm in DC. In
1986 Flo co-founded the first legal recruiting firm servicing
the Virginia legal community and in 1994 established Frey & Sher
with Eileen Sher.
Because Flo has been such a prominent
player in the DC and Virginia legal communities, her contacts
within law firms, corporations and government agencies are
extensive. She counsels candidates on all aspects of
the recruiting process and advises clients on recruiting,
management and growth matters. Her speaking engagements
have included partner forums and law schools and she has
written articles for national legal publications.
Flo is a past president of the National Association
of Legal Search Consultants (NALSC).

Eileen Sher received
her B.Ed. from the University of Miami and taught in Montgomery
County, MD. A native Washingtonian, Eileen was involved for
many years in the business community prior to co-founding
Frey & Sher. Because she has established personal and
professional relationships with many of the decision makers
in area client law firms and corporations, they value her
candidate judgment and knowledge of the industry.

Patty Weal joined Frey & Sher in 1997. She has been very successful placing partners, practice groups and expanding law firms throughout the United States and internationally.
Patty has over twenty years of experience in the recruiting industry. Prior to joining Frey and Sher she was the Director of Recruiting for a major DC law firm, thus she understands both the recruiting and hiring process.
Patty received her B.S. in Business Administration from California State University and has taken coursework towards an M.A. in Human Resources at The American University.
Originally from California, Patty has made the east coast home for years. She and her husband enjoy cheering on the Ravens, traveling with their young son and running Howard County's most successful ice cream business. Patty can make your goal a reality if your firm is interested in expanding into new markets or you are a partner or practice group wanting to move to another law firm. |
Terri Stimis has been in the legal recruiting industry since 1987. Prior to joining Frey& Sher, Terri served as Manager of Lateral Recruiting / Associate Orientation in one of the southeast region’s largest law firms. The firm had offices offices in Virginia, North Carolina and London where she implemented the recruiting process used firm-wide. Terri developed and executed an orientation and training program for immediate lateral associate firm integration and placement on firm committees. She spent a significant amount of time counseling attorneys on myriad of matters as they worked to attain their professional goals and potential. Terri credits both her recruiting management and interpersonal skills as significant reasons why she attained such success attracting both associate and partner laterals to the firm. Working closely with management, who respected her knowledge of the market and the relationships she developed with the firm’s attorneys, Terri played a vital role in lawyer retention. Terri brings to Frey & Sher
not only recruiting and interpersonal skills but an extensive
network of decision makers within Virginia law firms.
Terri
received a BS in Business Administration and Management with
an emphasis in Personnel from Virginia Commonwealth University
and is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR).
